Mattia Litrico

Ph.D. Student @ University of Catania

Mattia Litrico is a PhD Student in Machine Learning and Compuer Vision, as a member of the Image Processing Lab (IPLab) at the University of Catania. He received the Master’s degree in Computer Science in 2021 and he spent time as research visitor at the Edinburgh Napier University and at the PAVIS Lab of the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT).

His research is mostly focused on Machine Learning applied to remote sensing data, with a particular intereset on developing methodologies to reduce the cost of annotation of supervised models, including semi/weakly/un-supervised representation learning.
